The Reconnect Your Core program follows the Reconnect 360 system, which is a unique system that focuses on setting your foundation correctly. With a focus on the inner core unit, it also takes into account the rest of the body - your posture, alignment, muscle imbalances and changes during and after pregnancy and birth because all of these things together impact your core strength and the body's ability to work effectively.

For Mums with bubs under 12 months. Extra attention is given to the post natal body as we move through the exercises to improve your inner core strength and alignment. Mums & Bubs Small Group Reconnect Your Core 6 week program
For Nelson based Mums, I run a small group program. We meet once a week to learn the exercises and work our way through the Post Natal program. Contact me for upcoming class dates or if you have a group of friends I can organise a time for your group to start.

I have enjoyed being able to learn proper techniques and stretches to connect with areas of my core which I haven't been able to before, even pre-baby!
I have noticed my core firing in everyday situations more often and I'm working on the duration of these. I'm more aware of my posture and how I move as I go about my day. I'm especially conscious when feeding and sitting stationary. My body feels more relaxed from stretching, especially my shoulders and hips.

It was baby friendly and I didn't feel pressured into doing the exercises if I'd had a busy time with my baby. It was a small group so felt very personal and could tweak to my needs, Debbie was friendly and welcoming and it was wonderful to get my body stretching and moving again, my aches went away immediately.
WHO IS IT FOR?
The program is specifically designed for woman looking to FINALLY understand what they need to do to get inner core strength back after having children. It’s so important to rebuild the mind to muscle connection, regain strength in deep core muscles and restore good posture and alignment.
WHAT EQUIPMENT DO I NEED?
As long as you have floor space you’re good to go! If you have a foam roller, swiss ball or mini bands that’s a bonus.
I’M NOT VERY FIT AT THE MOMENT, WILL I BE ABLE TO DO IT?
Absolutely! This course is about setting your foundation. If you are at the beginning of your fitness journey, this is exactly where you need to start. However, learning these foundation exercises is key for anyone on their fitness journey, especially after having children.
MY CHILDREN ARE OLDER NOW, IS IT STILL WORTH DOING?
Yes, yes, yes. It is never too late to start strengthening your inner core. In fact, I have trained a lot of women over 50, who still see and feel a big difference when they go through the Reconnect Your Core Program.
I'VE JUST HAD A BABY, WHEN CAN I START?
How soon you're ready to start exercising depends on your individual circumstances - so always check with a health professional first. After a vaginal delivery you can start doing gentle pelvic floor and abdominal breathing exercises the first day or two after the birth which is the starting point of the Reconnect Your Core program. A ceasarean is a major operation and will need at least 6 weeks to heal. However, you can start doing gentle pelvic floor exercises after the birth. If you are unsure, please book a Strategy Session and we can talk further about the best plan for you.
HOW DO I ACCESS THE RECONNECT YOUR CORE PROGRAM?
The Reconnect Your Core Program is part of the Feel Energised Membership. When you sign up for the Master Membership you get access to the Feel Energised App and it's content. You will also be invited to join the Feel Energised Members page where you will get extra help and accountability.
